Music and Art

The festival's lineup is a genuine draw. Live music runs through the afternoon and evening, headlined this year by legendary rapper Rakim and the Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band, with local artists filling out the bill. Art installations are woven through the farm grounds, giving the whole festival a creative, festival-in-the-garden feel that sets it apart from a typical street fair.

Food, Farmers, and Chefs

Food is central to Fresh Fest, and it comes from every direction. Local chefs offer tastings built around farm-grown ingredients, a farmers market brings fresh produce and goods from regional growers, and food trucks round out the options for families who want a full meal. It is a wonderful way to show kids where real food comes from, straight from the raised beds and hoop houses that surround the event.

A Kids Zone and a Community Celebration

Families are clearly front and center at Fresh Fest. A dedicated kids zone is packed with hands-on activities, while workshops and wellness programming give older kids and adults something to dig into too. Rid-All Green Partnership hosts the festival every second Saturday in September to celebrate urban agriculture and cultural unity, and that sense of purpose gives the day real warmth. It is a free, welcoming, and genuinely memorable outing within easy reach of North Royalton.
