Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end of summer, and there is no better way to celebrate it than by wandering through a historic village filled with the work of 190 Ohio artists and craftspeople. The Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival returns to Hale Farm & Village on Friday, September 4 through Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. It is a short drive from North Royalton and well worth adding to your holiday weekend plans.

The festival is a showcase of Ohio-made craftsmanship. More than 190 artists and makers set up across the Hale Farm grounds, selling jewelry, pottery, wood carvings, glass art, handmade soaps and lotions, quilts, photography, and much more. Every item is made in Ohio, and many artists are on site demonstrating their craft. It is a great opportunity to find unique home decor, gifts, or holiday presents while supporting local artisans.
Living History Experience
Hale Farm & Village itself is a living history museum operated by the Western Reserve Historical Society, depicting mid-19th century life in Ohio's Western Reserve. The village includes 32 historic structures, heritage gardens, farm animals, and period craft demonstrations. Your festival admission gives you access to the entire village, so you can watch a blacksmith at the forge, see glassblowing and pottery demonstrations, tour the historic houses, and meet the farm animals between browsing the artisan tents. It is an educational experience wrapped inside a festival.
Food, Wine, and Music
Local food vendors serve lunch and snacks throughout the day, and Ohio wineries and breweries offer tastings and glasses of wine and beer. Live entertainment performs on the grounds, adding to the festival atmosphere. - Friday and Sunday are the least crowded days. Saturday tends to be the busiest, so arrive early if you are visiting then.

- Bring cash for artisan purchases. While some vendors accept cards, cash is more widely accepted among the craft booths.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes. The village covers a hillside with historic buildings, gardens, and festival tents spread across the property.
